James the Gordon Train is a series of story books written for young children,wholly based on the adventures of the Alford Valley Railway train the`James Gordon’, his friends and the other locomotive `The Bra Lass’.

This web site applies only to the books written about `James’ and is not to be confused with the Alford Valley Railway site, where news about the railway timetable, events and bookings can be found.
